Earnings
how an operator site can earn.

PARACHUTE is revenue-ready: it can charge an interface fee on one kind of trade, share it with referrers, and show sponsored slots. This page says exactly where a fee applies, where it cannot, and what is not built. No income is promised.

Fee ships at 0Hard cap 100 bpsPaid on-chain, same transaction

01In one paragraph

Your revenue is your fee × the Uniswap v4 volume that traders route through your site. The fee is off and empty when you receive the code. When you switch it on, each eligible swap pays your wallet on-chain, in the same transaction, in WETH or USDG. There is no invoice, no custody and no payout step. How much volume your site gets depends entirely on your own audience and marketing; no income is promised and none is implied by these docs.

02The interface fee

RuleDetail
Default0, no fee wallet. Nothing is charged until you set both a fee and a wallet.
Cap100 bps (1%), enforced in three places: the console refuses more, the dApp's config parser disables a larger value, and the swap builder refuses it (src/config/env.ts MAX_FEE_BPS, src/lib/operator/publicConfig.ts FEE_HARD_CAP_BPS).
Which tradesUniswap v4 routes only, taken from the ETH or USDG leg of the swap.
HowA Universal Router PAY_PORTION command inside the swap transaction pays your wallet in WETH or USDG, so every payment is a visible Transfer log. When a referrer shares the fee, a second payment command in the same transaction pays them.
DisclosureShown to the trader before they sign: in the trade panel, the quote and the review sheet (with your fee wallet). The status strip shows the fee in force.
Where you set itConsole → Swap fee (how). Static-only sites: VITE_FEE_BPS and VITE_FEE_RECIPIENT at build time.

03Where no fee is possible

  • pons bonding-curve trades. pons v2 has no integrator, referral or fee-recipient parameter, so an interface cannot add a fee to a curve buy or sell. The UI says so. Tokens trade on the curve until they graduate to a Uniswap v4 pool.
  • Never in a stock token. The fee is never paid in a tokenized stock (see below).

How much trading happens where changes over time. The console's Overview shows the measured split once you run node scripts/admin/volume-split.mjs 7. For orientation only: in one 7-day on-chain sample taken by the author in September 2026, about two thirds of pons trading volume happened in graduated v4 pools and about one third on bonding curves (docs/OPERATOR.md). That is an example measurement, not a forecast for your site.

04Stock routes and the fee

When both the stock module and a fee are on, a route that starts or ends in a stock token takes the fee from its ETH or USDG leg. The fee is never paid in the stock token.

Legality unverified: get legal advice first

Robinhood stock tokens are debt securities issued under Regulation S. Whether an interface fee may be charged on stock-token trades is not settled and has not been verified (FACTS.md §7). Do not switch on the stock module and a fee together until you have your own legal advice for every market you serve. These docs do not suggest or promise earnings from stock trades.

05Referrals

One tier. A partner shares https://<your-site>/?ref=<code>; the code stays in the trader's browser. On each eligible swap the referrer's share of your fee is paid to their wallet in the same transaction. You can also give referred traders a discount. Both are set in bps of your fee and each is capped at 50% of it (console).

How a fee splits, with example settings (not a recommendation): fee 50 bps, referrer share 3000 (30% of the fee), referred-user discount 1000 (10% of the fee).

TraderTrader paysReferrer receivesYou receive
Not referred50 bps of the leg—50 bps
Referred45 bps (50 minus the 5 bps discount)15 bps30 bps

Shares are rounded down to whole bps of the trade leg (src/lib/operator/fees.ts). Nobody, including you, keeps a list of who was referred.

07Pro plans (partial)

The console has a Plans section and the revenue view records USDG payments to your Pro pay-to address. The dApp has no Pro paywall or Pro-only feature in 1.0.0. Use it only if you sell and deliver your own Pro offering.

08Revenue calculator

Example only - not a forecast, no income is promised

Type your own assumptions. The result is simple arithmetic on the numbers you enter, not a prediction of what a site will earn. The fields start empty on purpose.

InputYour assumption
Example result per monthAmount
Fee used (after the 100 bps cap)—
Operator fee revenue if no trade is referred—
Operator fee revenue if every trade is referred—
Paid to referrers in that case—
  • pons bonding-curve trades carry no fee, so do not include curve volume in the first field. Only Uniswap v4 volume counts.
  • Stock-token routes are excluded from this example, because whether a fee may be charged on them is unverified (above).
  • The referred-user discount is set to 0 here. Referral shares are rounded down to whole bps, as the swap builder does. Gas, taxes and your costs are not included.

09See what you earned

Console → Revenue lists realised payments only, each with its transaction, read from the chain by the operator server. Nothing is estimated. Static-only sites have no revenue view: check your fee wallet on the block explorer (https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com).

10Your responsibilities

  • Disclose your fee in your terms (Console → Legal). The dApp already shows it before every signature.
  • Check whether charging an interface fee needs a licence or registration where you operate.
  • Keep the stock module and the fee apart until you have legal advice (above).
  • Treat fee income under your local tax rules.
